Say "Hello" to the boys - these pictures were taken last evening so that would make the puppies all of 8 days old. They are growing like proverbial weeds. Everyone is now over one pound with the exception of Rizzuto and his lovely sister, Clemente, who are hovering around 15+ ounces. They should bounce over the one pound mark any day now. Jenga is doing a remarkable job with them ... talk about having your paws full ... but is now spending more and more time away from them which is normal. She's still very attentive but now joins the rest of the family for short periods of time. Not a whole lot to report right now - they just eat, sleep and grow for now. Posts will come more frequently once they become "real" puppies.
Awww, they are so cute! I can't wait until their eyes open. When they were first born you "thought" there were 3 black and 2 liver boys. It might just be hard to tell in the pictures, but it looks like 4 of them are black spotted. I know Rizzuto is a liver, is there another liver spotted boy or did he trick us and changed to black spotted? Thanks for the update.
ReplyDeleteYes, we have FOUR black boys instead of the 3 I initially thought. I had DiMaggio pegged as a liver and, as you can see, I was wrong.
